LinkedIn I opened an account in early 2009 to begin professional networking online. It is a great way to stay in touch with personal and professional contacts.

Twitter I 'tweet' to share my personal thoughts instantly in 140 characters or less.

Direct Relief International An impressive and renowned non-profit organization that provides medical supplies and assistance to those in need around the world. They have a large warehouse of supplies right here in Santa Barbara, California. I interned with Ross Comstock at DRI for several months in the Spring of 2009.

UCSB Sustainability Program Campus program that encompasses all the sustainable efforts taking place at UCSB. I interned with Katie Maynard at in the Spring of 2009. This . I worked with Katie and on the Sustainability Media Team.

Michael's Arts and Crafts A large retail corporation with over 500 stores in North America. We sell arts and crafts supplies as well as various other commodities, bringing in about $3.9 million per store annually. I currently work at the Goleta (Santa Barbara) store.

Media Pitchers Public Relations A start-up Public Relations company in Santa Barbara, CA. I interned here for three months making phone calls and learning about both start-up companies and the public relations field.

Woodbridge Glass and Werner Systems A structure design-build company based in Tustin, CA, that has worked on such projects as the Hoover Dam Visitor's Center and the Disney Grand Hotel. I worked here as a temporary receptionist in the summer of 2006.
